In the opening sequence for Ranma 1/2 season one, you can see that Shampoo is sporting dark green hair and light blue eyes. I don't know why the animators decided to change her hair and eye color for her first appearance in season two; perhaps it was because she looked almost identical to Lum from Urusei Yatsura, but regardless of the reason, I'm glad they changed it since purple hair and red eyes seem to suit her better.
Most people don't know that Shampoo has another blood relative besides Cologne. This is a picture of her father. He's shown a few times in the manga; once in the flashback when Shampoo gets her cat curse, and a few other times talking to Cologne.
Shampoo isn't usually seen doing many hobbies but every now and then you'll see a glimpse of her other activities in the manga. Shampoo seems to really love her video games and it looks like she's playing a fighting game on an SNES console. If you look closely at the TV screen it looks like her character is doing some kind of flip kick or spinning kick. It might just be wishful thinking but I like to think that it might be a tiny homage to Chun Li from Street Fighter.
Shampoo is actually quite a diva; she not only has a part in several of the Ranma 1/2 songs, she even has a fair number of her own- Nekohanten Menu Song, Wo Da Airen, a song whose title translates as "Sad Farewell", and even a rendetion of "Make Me Wild Like You", the famous opening song from the first season. She even got her own limited release CD album, the Wooden Carrying Box Special Selection (so-called because it came with a balsa wood replica of a Nekohanten delivery box), which had the aforementioned four songs plus "Helpful Older Sister Shampoo", a song sung by Ling-Ling & Lung-Lung about her. I think it goes without saying that this image isn't official in anyway but this image is interesting in how accurate looking their height and cup sizes are in comparison to the anime. (Although, personally I always thought Ranma chan would have the biggest breasts)

In the episode "Ranma's Calligraphy Challenge" Shampoo shows off her writing skills to Ranma. Her penmanship in writing Chinese characters is beautiful and immaculate.
